Krug's meaning of the term "conventions"


By “conventions” Krug means all of the design elements of a website that should generally be kept consistent in order to increase usability. Some examples of these “conventions” include putting logos in the top left corner of websites, using standard scroll bars, and grouping information on the page in a logical way.
